The Dynavox X7000 is the successor of the successful X6000. It is a hi-fi mains filter that should not be missing from any high-end system. It filters unwanted interference from the mains and makes your listening pleasure better by that small but ultimately essential refinement. Unlike its predecessor, the X7000 also has a display showing the mains voltage or the power consumed. The display can also be switched off. The X7000 remembers the last setting (voltage, power or display off) and uses it again after being switched back on. Easy installation, phase marking, sturdy and durable metal housing, built-in 10 A circuit breaker, phase LED (lights up if the phase of the supply line is wrong), front panel of 8 mm brushed aluminium.
Notes
Filtered / Direct sockets: first connect the digital devices (CD/DVD/BR players, streamers, receivers, etc.) to the filtered sockets, as these are the most sensitive to mains interference. If filtered sockets are still free afterwards, analogue devices (amplifiers, pre/power amplifiers) can of course be connected there as well; otherwise connect them to the unfiltered sockets. It is generally recommended to try different connection options to get the full potential out of your set-up.
Phase: the mains filter only detects the correct phase of the mains connection, i.e. the supply line. For phase-correct connection of your equipment, the sockets on the filter are marked L (phase) and N (neutral). Where the phase is on each device can be found in its technical documentation or from your dealer.
