The ELAC BS243.4 Carina Bookshelf Speakers are one of the most impressive compact bookshelf speakers in its class. An Andrew Jones-designed model, Carina was the first ELAC series to incorporate an air-motion transformer (AMT) tweeter module - the JET folded ribbon tweeter, which produces incredibly airy and detailed high frequencies without harshness, pairing beautifully with the compound curvature aluminum cone woofer for a smooth midrange and surprisingly capable bass for a compact speaker.
