Edition XV
The Edition XV employs newly engineered magnetic materials that deliver the sensitivity of rare-earth designs without the use of rare-earth metals. Combined with the second-generation Neo Supernano Diaphragm, now 60% thinner than before, it achieves lightning-fast transients and remarkable clarity throughout the frequency range.

Enhanced Magnet
HIFIMAN’s new Edition XV uses rare-earth-free permanent magnet materials with a precisely engineered shape that reduces distortion and improves sound clarity. This design achieves sensitivity and control on par with rare-earth magnets, while offering a more sustainable, environmentally friendly approach without compromising the planar magnetic performance HIFIMAN is known for.

2nd Generation Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm
At the heart of Edition XV is HIFIMAN’s second-generation nanometer-thick diaphragm, now just 60% the thickness of the original. This ultra-lightweight membrane further enhances transient response, enabling the driver to reproduce even finer details with greater precision. The reduced mass allows for faster, more accurate movement, translating into improved dynamics, clarity, and immersion.

Innovative Technology meets Affordable Pricing
The Edition XV is the lowest-priced new model to debut this summer from Hifiman, which features several of their new design and technology improvements. Edition XV features both the new Enhanced Magnets and the NEO Supernano Gen 2 Diaphragm. 

Enhanced Magnets make use of permanent magnetic materials that are rare-earth free, but provide the same power and performance as previous magnets that utilise rare earths. 

The NEO Supernano Gen 2 Diaphragm features a new driver diaphragm that is only 60% of the thickness of the previous material. Being able to reduce the weight and thickness of the moving parts while maintaining long-term durability allows the Edition XV to provide improved responsiveness and clarity. 

New Composite Headband

Weight reduction of 20-30g with rotatable hinges for enhanced wearing comfort.

HIFIMAN’s new 3.5mm sockets are similar to those found on most common audio devices. The supplied 3.5mm cable is user-changeable and replaceable.
