The Meze Audio 105 SILVA is an open-back over-ear headphone that blends clarity with a rich, fun character. Real walnut wood and a radial grille give it a timeless Mid-Century Modern look, while a 50 mm dynamic driver with a titanium-coated torus delivers detail and energy across all music genres. A 3.5 mm to USB-C adapter with built-in DAC/AMP is included, so you can use it directly with a phone or laptop.

Fun and detailed sound

The 105 SILVA is tuned to balance musicality and refinement. Transients are quick and articulate, the treble extends smoothly without harshness and the bass stays tight and controlled. Compared with the 105 AER and 109 PRO, it has a more expressive midrange that gives vocals and acoustic string instruments a natural, present sound.

Timeless walnut design

Inspired by Mid-Century Modern design, the 105 SILVA combines walnut wood with a radial metal grille in its ear cups. A spring steel headband and PVD-coated cast zinc alloy hardware make the structure very sturdy yet flexible.

50 mm dynamic driver

The W-shaped dome is made of a carbon fibre-reinforced cellulose composite for detailed, clean high frequencies. The torus around it is a semicrystalline polymer with a PVD titanium coating that adds stiffness while staying light, for fast transients and textured bass. Grooves at a 45.5° angle control resonances and a copper-zinc alloy stabiliser absorbs vibrations to reduce distortion.

Comfort and accessories

The self-adjusting PU leather headband spreads the weight evenly and the soft, breathable velour ear pads prevent overheating during long listening sessions. The supplied 1.8 m OFC cable has a dual-twisted, Kevlar-wrapped main run and anthracite aluminium housings for durability and a tangle-free experience. Like all Meze headphones, the 105 SILVA can be fully disassembled and serviced.
