The Meridian 251 Powered Zone Controller contains everything needed to create a great-sounding, flexible high-resolution audio zone, either in the room or in a rack. Two powerful, cool-running Class D amplifier channels drive a pair of passive loudspeakers or a soundbar with Meridian's trademark fidelity.

The 251 accepts local and distributed audio, analogue or digital, decodes MQA and works as a Roon endpoint. With IP and IR control it integrates easily into a home system, and its line-level outputs make a 2.1 set-up with a subwoofer or additional amplification simple. Once a control source is added, it works as a complete integrated amplifier with source selection and volume control.
