The Meridian Special Edition DSP5200 delivers ultimate high-resolution performance from a compact floorstanding loudspeaker. Each speaker contains a complete matched audio system – DSP, DACs and three amplifiers – giving outstanding overall quality, lower power consumption and bass you would expect from a passive loudspeaker several times its size.

Two DSP devices provide the processing power to render all audio, including MQA Core streams, at 176.4 or 192 kHz whatever the incoming sample rate. The result is more resolution, detail and clarity from both music and movie soundtracks. A Meridian-designed beryllium dome tweeter in a short horn and mechanical clamp rings on the bass drivers keep the sound clean, fast and free from colouration. Each loudspeaker is built by hand in the UK.
