The Meze Audio STRADA is a closed-back dynamic headphone built for tonal balance and musical intimacy. It combines a full-bodied sound, very good noise isolation and a natural sense of space, so you can enjoy detail, texture and dynamics at home, in the office or on the go. Like all Meze headphones, it is engineered, hand-built and quality-checked in Baia Mare, Romania.

Impactful, clear sound

STRADA is tuned with a focus on control and precision. The low end is tight and well defined, with a slight bass lift that adds punch and body. The midrange stays neutral and transparent for natural vocals and instruments, while the treble adds subtle energy and spatial cues without becoming harsh. With 40 Ω and 111 dB/mW it is easy to drive from portable sources.

Driver from the 109 PRO

At its core is the 50 mm dynamic driver first used in the acclaimed 109 PRO, re-tuned for a sealed chamber. The W-shaped dome of carbon fibre-reinforced cellulose composite delivers detailed treble with low distortion, the beryllium-coated torus with 45.5° grooves provides stiffness and fast transients, and a copper-zinc stabiliser absorbs unwanted vibrations.

Comfort based on the LIRIC

STRADA uses the proven chassis of the award-winning LIRIC. Gentle clamping force, deep memory-foam ear pads with a soft PU leather surface and an Alcantara-lined inner chamber ensure a reliable seal and reduce heat during long sessions. The smooth adjustment rods allow a precise fit without clicks, and the cross-pattern padded headband spreads pressure evenly.

Premium materials

The magnesium frame is hand-painted in-house in four layers of a deep green with subtle metallic particles, and the ear cups are covered with Macassar ebony wood with its distinctive golden-brown stripes. Magnetic ear pads make replacement quick and easy, and every part of the headphone can be serviced.
